Networking
Industrial networking paves the way for remote troubleshooting support, SCADA, and MES applications. Unlike many IT companies, MDI specializes in rugged industrial networks that allow wired or wireless communications to your plants equipment. MDI accomplishes this by expanding on your existing network infrastructure, working closely with your IT department to ensure all company network guidelines are followed. MDI can also install a secure isolated plant network to add a level of protection in case of a data breach.

WIDE VARIETY OF NETWORKS
MDI works on a wide variety of industrial networks, and our engineers are always learning more.
Some of our previous projects involved work on: Ethernet, Ethernet IP, Modbus, Profibus, Data Highway, Data Highway Plus, Device Net, Control Net, Serial (232, 485, 422), ASI, and Field Bus.
Programming & Equipment Services
Considering the difficulties that comes with keeping equipment running over long stretches of time, MDI can help to maintain it for you.
We can help with programming your HMIs, PLCs, drives, and motion controllers. Additionally, we can help you with network, server infrastructure, and any software-related tasks at your sites.
Electrical Designs
MDI can design your next-generation control system. Our panel designs are UL508 rated and rigorously tested for safety.
We design our electrical schematics using CAD software, and can provide these files to clients. Additionally, we can write user interface manuals to ensure that operators are aware of how the system operates.
Our designers discover and then document existing facility wiring before conducting any upgrade to ensure that you are aware of the existing electrical infrastructure.
UL 508A Panel Shop
With our own on-site panel shop, we can design and construct electrical panels of any kind for your project. Additionally, we can construct build-to-print panels for OEMs.
All wiring, connections, and devices are labeled with computer generated labels to ensure that future maintenance is easy.
Before any panel leaves our shop, it is run through a rigorous quality check that involves multiple individuals who did not work on constructing the panel. Our quality control involves full functionality testing, cleanliness, and other tests.
