WIDE VARIETY OF APPLICATIONS
MDI has previously provided vision solutions from Cognex, Keyence, and Banner for a variety of applications. These applications include, but are not limited to, barcode scanning, verification, QC inspections, and robotics.
However, we’re able to integrate a vision system from any manufacturer for any application. Our engineers are experienced and can work to meet your needs.
UL 508A Panel Shop
With our own on-site panel shop, we can design and construct electrical panels of any kind for your project. Additionally, we can construct build-to-print panels for OEMs.
All wiring, connections, and devices are labeled with computer generated labels to ensure that future maintenance is easy.
Before any panel leaves our shop, it is run through a rigorous quality check that involves multiple individuals who did not work on constructing the panel. Our quality control involves full functionality testing, cleanliness, and other tests.
Legacy Controls Upgrades
It’s important for facilities to upgrade their equipment. After time, systems will reach EOL, manufacturers will end support, and procrastinating an upgrade only increases the likelihood of failures. It’s critical to get ahead of future issues by upgrading control systems before they occur.
MDI is an experienced integrator that has dealt with all major manufacturers in upgrade projects – Siemens, Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradley), GE, Modicon, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Omron, Proface, and Automation Direct. Our engineers are well-versed in legacy platforms too, ensuring that you can have a seamless transition with minimal to zero facility downtime from legacy to modern hardware.
Electrical Designs
MDI can design your next-generation control system. Our panel designs are UL508 rated and rigorously tested for safety.
We design our electrical schematics using CAD software, and can provide these files to clients. Additionally, we can write user interface manuals to ensure that operators are aware of how the system operates.
Our designers discover and then document existing facility wiring before conducting any upgrade to ensure that you are aware of the existing electrical infrastructure.
